Kozhikode: Minister for Water Resources P.J. Joseph will inaugurate a workshop on ‘Drinking water quality status of Kerala—problems and remedies,' organised by the Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) here, on his maiden visit to the centre as Minister on Thursday. Executive Director of the centre K.V. Jayakumar told presspersons here on Wednesday that the workshop was being held as a preparatory step for implementing a project based on a study by the centre on pollution of water sources. As part of the project, the centre plans to renovate and protect public wells and other water sources in select panchayats and municipalities.
