TIRUPATI: Deputy Leader of the TDP in the Assembly Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu has sought an enquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the reported clandestine flow of huge cash, gold, and other valuables from Prashanthi Nilayam, the abode of late Satya Saibaba. Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, Mr. Naidu referred in this connection to the recent media and the public outcry over the reported looting of Baba's trust properties. He cited the specific cases of the police arresting the close aides of the trustees and confiscating from them huge sums of money even as they were being ‘surreptitiously' carted away to different destinations in Bangalore and Chennai. The TDP leader regretted that in spite of so much of controversy neither the Centre nor the State was initiating any steps either to unravel the mystery or to nab those who were allegedly involved in the ‘looting'.
