Kiran lauds youth's gesture

HYDERABAD: An engineering graduate Mahesh Goud, who was able to complete his professional course with the aid of scholarship and fee reimbursement scheme of the government, met Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and handed over a cheque for Rs.6,000 towards Chief Minister's Relief fund.

Hailing from a poor family, Mahesh Goud is the son of a toddy tapper from Miraspalli in Kothakota mandal, Mahbubnagar district. He completed his engineering in ECE stream from Younis Sultan Engineering College, Chevella.

Mr. Goud told the Chief Minister that the government's welfare schemes for poor had inspired him and that he had saved Rs.6,000 for contributing towards Aarogyasri programme.

He expressed confidence of finding a job soon. Mr. Reddy lauded the young man for his gesture.
