DISTINCT GRAMMAR: The sessions will also cover the visual sensibilities of folk culture.

BANGALORE: The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), in association with the Art, Resources and Teaching Trust (ART), is holding a workshop, ‘Engaging Art', with a focus on visual cultures.

The workshop, commencing on July 9, will be conducted by artist and writer Ravikumar Kashi, artist and teacher Ramesh Chandra, designers and art historians Annapurna Garimella and Lina Vincent Sunish.

This free workshop will involve a series of lectures and interactive sessions on interpreting art, aesthetics, and collecting and categorising art, a press release said.
