VISAKHAPATNAM: There will be traffic restrictions on the Beach Road on Thursday morning in view of the ‘Vizag Run' being organised by the World Telugu Federation. The run will be organised from the Kalimatha temple to The Park hotel. The traffic police appealed to the participants and general motorists to cooperate with the police in the smooth flow of traffic. No vehicles would be allowed between NTR Statue and Pandurangapuram Down from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The road, on either side, would be closed to vehicular traffic between NTR Statue to The Park from 6 a.m. till the end of the run. Those coming to participate in the run can park their vehicles in the designated slots between NTR Statue and Naval Coast Battery and between Pandurangapuram Down and YMCA at the designated parking slots. Vehicles coming from NCB side would have to take a left turn at NTR statue and proceed towards AIR junction. Two-wheelers can be parked in the open space at ‘Sagara Tarangalu'. Organisers and officials participating in the run can park their vehicles on the road between NTR statue and Varun Park. RTC buses will not be allowed on the road between Taj Hotel junction and The Park from 6 a.m. till the end of the run.
