NMAMIT students may study in U.S.

MANGALORE : Students joining the engineering course of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, will get an opportunity to study in an American college for half the course period and get a degree awarded from a Pennsylvania-based university.

This is consequent to the institution signing a memorandum of understanding with Penn State Harrisburg, an American college, under the new twinning programme with foreign universities scheme of the All India Council for Technical Education. NMAMIT is recognised by the AICTE and the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Centre.

Students would complete two years of their education at Nitte and pursue two years of their degree at Penn State Harrisburg, which is located in Pennsylvania in the U.S. Students who complete the programme would get a degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
