Ornaments worth Rs. 18 lakh stolen

TENALI: Gold ornaments worth nearly Rs 18 lakh were stolen from a shop on Majetivari Street here on Wednesday night. The ornaments weighed some 800 grams. Two persons were reportedly taken into custody by the police. The shop owners found the valuables missing when they accounted for the day's stock.
