Two girls missing

Tirupur: Two girls aged 17 and 23 years, both textile workers, had been reported missing in separate incidents on Tuesday evening.
Police said the 17-year-old girl, a resident of Anupparpalayam, left home for work in the morning but did not return despite her shift ended in the evening.
The other girl, who lives in Kangeyam and employed in Tirupur city, too was missing in the same manner, police officials said.
Cases had been registered in both the incidents.
Threatened
The Central Crime Branch are on the look out for two persons who allegedly threatened Thirumoorthy (44) asking him to pay them Rs 25,000 for not revealing some personal secrets of the complainant.
