British Council announces IELTS scholarship award
HYDERABAD: The British Council will award IELTS scholarship of Rs. 3,00,000 towards tuition fee to eight Indian students planning to study at universities overseas. Indian citizens willing to pursue a full-time post graduate study outside the country in 2011 and possessing higher education that accepts IELTS as a part of its admission requirements can apply for the scholarship.
Only those who have taken the most recent IELTS test with the British Council, with a minimum band score average of 6.5 are eligible to apply. All those applying for the scholarship are required to provide an acceptance letter from the attending institution by August 13.
