Centre criticised

Staff Correspondent

Belgaum: The Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha demanded that President Pratibha Patil “dismiss” the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government to prevent the country from “going bankrupt”.

The mahila morcha members took out a procession in support of their demand and submitted a memorandum addressed to the President here on Thursday.

Corruption and price rise had become synonymous with Congress, they said, accusing the Centre of failing to check them. The scams unearthed so far had tarnished the country's image, they said.
