PERAMBALUR: Collector Darez Ahmed has instructed officials to ensure that telephone number of all officers concerned and the District Collector were prominently displayed in all government-run students' hostels. Mr.Ahmed gave the instructions after inspecting the Adi Dravida Welfare Students hostel at Keezha Puliyur on Friday. He also instructed the hostel warden maintain the hostel clean and plant saplings in its premises. He directed the local panchayat president to provide street lights around the hostel. Earlier, Mr.Ahmed ordered departmental action against a cook for failing to properly cook the food supplied to children at an anganwadi in the village.
