Yeddyurappa to distribute Aasare houses in Manvi taluk

Raichur: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will distribute Aasare houses to flood-hit families in Manvi taluk on Saturday. He will distribute 1,225 Aasare houses to the beneficiaries in Manvi taluk. Of the 1,225 houses, 199 have been constructed at Umalipannur, 354 in Kataraki, 243 houses in Kharabdinni, 250 houses in Jukur and 177 houses in Daddal in the taluk.

According to the official itinerary, the Chief Minister will leave Bangalore at 8.10 p.m. by Udyan Express on Friday night and arrive at Raichur at about 5.40.a.m. on Saturday. He will leave Raichur by 9.30 a.m. on Saturday by helicopter and reach Umalipannur village in Manvi taluk where he is scheduled to participate in the distribution of Aasare houses. At about 11 a.m., he will leave for Melkunda village in Gulbarga district.
