dated June 25, 1961: Central Housing Scheme

Mr. Gulzarilal Nanda, Union Labour and Planning Minister, addressing Pressmen in Ahmedabad on June 24, said that the Government of India had under consideration at present, a proposal to establish a Central Housing Corporation to coordinate housing programmes in different States in the country. Mr. Nanda said that the Corporation will be “both financing and developmental agency and all the States will get benefits.”
