Jacob, Sarah clinch titles

KOZHIKODE: Jacob Thomas and Sarah Alma Basil emerged the under-11 champions in the Savitri Saboo memorial all-Kerala junior-ranking badminton tournament here on Friday.

The results (finals):

Under-11: Boys: Jacob Thomas bt Shyam Prasad 21-11, 21-12; Doubles: Shyam Prasad & Shankar Prasad bt Jacob Thomas & Vyshnav Dharmendra 16-21, 21-19, 21-15.

Girls: Sarah Alma Basil bt Varsha Venkatesh 22-20, 21-19 .
