Nominated Member of KWA

PALAKKAD: K.V. Mani, president, Palakkad district committee, Kerala Congress (M) has been nominated as a Member representing the general category in the reconstituted Kerala Water Authority (G.O. No.34\2011\WRD). The other members of the Board are V.J. Kurian, Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department (chairman), Ashok Kumar Singh, IAS ( managing director); Susan Jacob, Chief Engineer (KWA) – Technical Member; N. Sivasankara Pillai (Accounts member) from the office of Principal Accountant General (Audit), Kerala, and Johny Areekattel, Member representing the local bodies. The ex-officio members are Additional Chief Secretary, Local Self-Government Department; and Principal Secretary, Finance.
