Thrissur: The Hindu Aikyavedi members took out a march to the Jubilee Mission Medical College in the city on Thursday in protest against Inter-Church Council's stand on admission to self-financing colleges. The police stopped the agitators at the gate of the college. The activists staged a dharna in front of the college demanding social justice in the admission to the self financing colleges and lifting of minority status for the colleges under the Inter-Church Council. The Aikyavedi activists, later, observed dharna in front of the college. Hindu Aikyavedi general secretary R.V. Babu inaugurated the dharna.
