Four undertrials escape

Lucknow: Four undertrials fled from a lock-up in the district civil court in Agra district during a clash between lawyers and policemen on Friday, police said.

The incident took place in the afternoon when relatives and lawyers of some undertrials clashed with the policemen while they were giving eatables to them inside the lock-up.

Taking advantage of the clash, four undertrials -- Narendra alias Nagendra, Aas Mohammad, Bobby and Rajiv alias Panna -- escaped.

The police were trying to nab them. - PTI
