NEW DELHI: Ever lost your belongings on the Metro? Retrieving such items will now become much easier with the “Lost & Found” feature on the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation website www.delhimetrorail.com “The details of such items will now be updated on a daily basis on the website. The list includes details like date, time, description of the article and name of the station where it was found or handed over to the DMRC staff by anyone,” said a DMRC spokesperson. The claimants of the items can approach the Metro station mentioned beside the item on the list within 24 hours of its display on the website. “If passengers are not able to reclaim items within 24 hours from the specified station, they can approach the centralised “Lost & Found” office at Kashmere Gate metro station,” added the spokesperson. At present, DMRC's “Lost and Found” office is located at Kashmere Gate metro station. Any person , including DMRC personnel, finding an unclaimed article anywhere on metro premises or trains can hand it over to the concerned station manager or station controller.
