HYDERABAD: A labourer, Dasharath, allegedly murdered the 18-month-old daughter of his younger brother on Friday in Shahinayatgunj since the latter reprimanded him for objectionable behaviour and forced him to live separately. Police recovered the body of the girl, Sonu, from a graveyard in Imampura in Kulsumpura after the accused rang up his brother Kishanlal and said he left the body there. Hunt on The Goshamahal ACP, M. Venkateswara Rao, said a hunt was on for Dasharath, an alcoholic. The accused was unmarried and used to live with Kishanlal's family at Devinagar of Jummeratbazar. “A few days ago, Kishanlal chided Dasharath for creating nuisance and asked him to leave the house and live separately,” the ACP said. The two brothers patched up later. Bangs head against rock On Friday morning, Dasharath took out the girl stating he would buy her some snacks. Around noon, he rang up his brother stating that he had killed the girl by banging her head against a rock. Two hours later, he called up another family member and said the body was at Imampura graveyard. Both the calls were made from PCOs, one from Afzalgunj and another from Secunderabad.
