Mysore: Devassy Kutty, a student of MA (Journalism) from Karnataka State Open University has bagged the Best Distance Education Student Award for 2009-10.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a press release from the Department of Journalism, KSOU, said. The award was insitituted by the Commonwealth Education Media Centre for Asia, New Delhi.
