Nizamabad Police launch website

Staff Reporter

NIZAMABAD: Minister for Major Irrigation P. Sudarshan Reddy launched the Nizamabad district police website at the office of the Circle Inspector of Police at Bodhan on Friday.

Explaining the advantages of the website, Superintendent of Police K. Venkateswar Rao said this website would be useful not only to the people but also the police. People from anywhere in the district could log on to the website and register their grievances.

The petitions would be directly read by the Superintendent of Police and he would send them to the police station concerned for necessary action. The facility would save time and money for the petitioners, he said.

On the other hand, the police personnel working anywhere in the district could log on to the website to bring to the notice of the SP their problems such as leave settlements, sick settlements, arrears and other matters pertaining to the administration.

This would enable the authorities to respond immediately averting delay, red-tape and paper work in the disposal of petitions and also in routine administration.
