GUNTUR: A two–member inquiry team from the Central Drug Standards Control Organization (CDSCO) comprising P.B.N. Prasad and A. Ramakrishna met the victims of clinical trials at Piduguralla and two women undergoing treatment at the Government General Hospital here on Friday evening. Mr. Prasad is the Deputy Drug Controller from CDSCO's South Zone office at Chennai and Mr. Ramakrishna is Assistant Drug Controller deputed from the organisation's sub-zonal office at Ahmedabad. They had a first-hand account of the nature of trials conducted in alleged violation of the regulatory provisions.
