KOLKATA: Future Hope thrashed Kolkata Police 39-0 in the final of the Centenary Cup rugby at the CC&FC ground. Dipak Dagar top scored for the winner making a try and three conversions. Praveen Reddy with two tries was the next best performer. Captain Sheikh Saidul, Mangal Baira, Kamaldeep Dagar made a try each while Kevin Mistry did a penalty conversion to complete the tally for Future Hope. La Martiniere Old Boys beat Maidan Hazards 32-5 to win the Bowl final while Jungle Crows wiped out Armenian Sports Club 22-0 to win the Plate final in the other two title contests of the day. Chowdhury, Mousumi win titles Subham Chowdhury and Mousumi Pal emerged the men's and women's winners of the Kalyan Jayant Memorial table tennis championship (Stage III) at the Khudiram Stadium. Susovan Das and Shramana Dutta won the youth sections while Arnab Sarkar and Suthirtha Mukherjee triumphed in the junior section.
