Harish Manwani MUMBAI: Harish Manwani who is now Unilever's President for Asia, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, will take over as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) giant from September 1 and will take responsibility for all markets. On Friday, Unilever announced changes to its category and go-to-market structure to further support its growth plans. According to the company, the new structure allows for a more efficient roll-out of increasingly bigger and more scalable innovations, and the optimization of resources behind strategic priorities. The new structures will be put in place during the third quarter and will be fully operational before the year-end, the company said.
