Hyderabad monsoon season
Hyderabad: The 28-day Hyderabad Monsoon race season will begin here on July 20, according to a Hyderabad Race Club press release.
The following will be the main events: Nizam Gold Cup (Aug. 14), AP Governor's Cup (Aug. 21). D B Fillies Championship Stakes (Aug. 28). DB Fillies Colts Championship Stakes (Sept. 4). President of India Gold Cup and the HRC Golden Jubilee Commemoration Cup (Sept. 11). AP Chief Minister's Cup (Sept. 18), Deccan Derby (Oct. 2). Melbourne Racing Club Trophy (Oct. 3) and Golconda St. Leger (Oct. 16).
The meetings will be held on two Wednesdays, two Thursdays, two Saturdays, 11 Sundays and 11 Mondays (a total of 28 days), the release added. — PTI
