KADAPA: Students Federation of India activists called off their indefinite hunger strike in front of Kadapa Collectorate on Saturday following an assurance by Collector V. Anil Kumar to discuss on their demand for closure of unrecognised private schools on June 26. The activists were on a fast from June 23. The Collector took initiative to resolve the issue by visiting the hunger strike camp in which SFI district president S. Sankar and vice-president P. Dastagiri Reddy were fasting and offered them coconut water. Additional Joint Collector G. Joshi Babu accompanied the Collector.
