VIJAYAWADA: Kerala lifted the D.V. Subba Rao Trophy for the ACA quadrangular u-22 tournament that concluded at Anantapur on Saturday. Madhya Pradesh finished second while host Andhra and Vidarbha took the third and fourth places respectively. Kerala's Sachin Baby and MP's Ankit Sharma were declared best batsman and bowler while Andhra's Bharat Reddy was chosen best all-rounder. A century by Ch. Praneeth (118) for Andhra against Vidarbha was the highlight of the final day's play. Anantapur District Cricket Association president Moncho Ferrer and ACA official M.N. Ravi Kumar gave away the prizes. The scores: Kerala 376 drew with Madhya Pradesh 214 in 59.5 overs (Ankit Sharma 38, Deepak Sharma 33, Anthaf four for 67). Vidarbha 347 drew with Andhra 381 in 137.5 overs (Ch. Praneeth 118, M. Basha 96, Ajay Kumar 36, Prashanth 34, Aman Sharma three for 40, Abhishek three for 38). KDCA Reds wins KDCA Reds defeated KDCA Blues by six wickets in the Kurnool District Cricket Association's limited overs match at Kurnool on Saturday. A century by V. Sanjay Naidu (119) for KDCA Blues was the highlight of the day. The scores: KDCA Blues 159 in 39.4 overs (V. Sanjay Naidu 119) lost to KDCA Reds 160 for four in 40 overs (U.M.S. Girinadh 49) .
