In style:Contestants of the Miss Andhra Vizag title walking the ramp in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

VISAKHAPATNAM: The 60-ft ramp set up on the beach front at Hotel Park was aglow with local models displaying their talent on Saturday night.

Walking down the ramp with ease, in tune with music, the 12 models, who were selected for the Miss Andhra Vizag-2011 contest, showcased their talent at the pageant show organised by the Creative Plus in association with Media-3.

Apart from the Miss Vizag crown and the two runners-up slots, the contestants Keerthi, Suchitra, Divya, Lavanya, Shreya, Shweta, Sunita, Nisha, Suhasini, Rishita, Madhuri, and Amulya were seen vying hard for the other titles such as Miss Talented, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Beautiful Hair, Beautiful Smile, and Miss Photogenic. The show was skilfully punctuated by a fashion show by models from Delhi donning the creations of fashion designer James Ferreira. The contest was divided into three rounds – introduction round, talent round, and IQ round.

Prizes

Ajay Agarwal of Creative Plus said that apart from winning fabulous prizes, the title winners would be allowed to participate in the Miss Andhra pageant show to be held later this year in Hyderabad.

Playback singer Navya and dance troupe Crescendo from Kolkata performed at the show.
