Zoo Friends Club meet held

VISAKHAPATNAM: A meeting of Zoo Friends Club was organised at the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park here on Saturday. Director of Zoo Parks of AP Mallikharjuna Rao attended the meeting.

Different topics like the animal exchange programme, zoo infrastructure development and betterment and animal adoption scheme were discussed. The club members came up with a lot of suggestions. Earlier, Zoo Curator G. Ramalingam gave the inaugural address.

Zoo Vet V. Srinivas, Biologist SR Sumant, Assistant Curators M. Raja Rao and V.S. Gopal were present.

Dr. Suryamani donated Rs.1,000 for the animal exchange programme. Epshita (youngest zoo friend) displayed her paintings at the meeting.
