Illegally dug soil-laden tippers seized

Hyderabad: The Water Board vigilance team led by Circle Inspector B. Srihari conducted raids and seized four tippers carrying soil.
The soil was illegally dug out from Himayatsagar and was intended for sale to people in Kavvaguda village in Shamshabad Mandal.
Cases were booked against the tipper owners and handed over to Shamshabad police for taking further necessary action.
The vigilance team also seized eleven motors used illegally to draw water from taps at Lambada Basthi, Ambedkar Nagar under Tarnaka Section of O&M Division VII, Marredpally.
Further the team disconnected two illegal water supply connections at G.M. Nagar and one illegal connection at Poosala Basthi, Saidabad –both under O& M Division II.
