Bangalore: Three persons have been robbed of their valuables in different parts of the city since Friday night. A man knocked on Lakshmi Ravikumar's door on Byrasandra Main Road at G.M. Palya and robbed two gold chains and Rs. 1,500 from her. She was alone at the time, Byappanahalli police said. Waist chain Three men posing as passengers snatched a silver waist chain and Rs. 400 from Lakshman Chennappa, an autorickshaw driver, near Malagala at knifepoint at 9 p.m. on Friday, the Jnanabharati police said. Gold chain A stranger accosted Lakshmamma Shivappa of Ramakrishnanagar and snatched her gold chain worth Rs. 68,000 near Sarakki Gate bus-stand near Kanakapura Main Road at 6.30 a.m. on Saturday, the Kumaraswamy Layout police said. Fatal fall A man lost his life when he slipped and fell off the first floor of a building here late on Friday. Eshwarappa (65), a footpath vendor, died on the spot after he slipped off the parapet wall where he was sitting at his first-floor home in Akkipet, the Cottonpet police said.
