Road to connect rail station and Krishna temple

Staff Correspondent

Udupi: Higher Education Minister V.S. Acharya said on Saturday that a road would be constructed from the railway station to the Sri Krishna temple. He was speaking after inaugurating street lamps on the Kadiyali-SyndicateBank circle stretch on the Udupi-Manipal road.

Dr. Acharya said that the State government would shortly release funds for the construction of the railway station-Krishna math road. The railway over-bridge at Indralli would be widened at a cost of Rs. 3.91 crore, he said.

This was necessary as the Udupi-Manipal road had been widened.
