Chief Minister mum on Cabinet reshuffle

Special Correspondent

GULBARGA: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa refused to indicate when the Cabinet expansion and reshuffle would take place.

“I do not discuss matters such as the Cabinet expansion and reshuffle in public,” he said.

Addressing presspersons at the temporary helipad on the outskirts of Melkunda village, 20 km from here, on Saturday, Mr. Yeddyurappa said that as per advice from party president Nitin Gadkari, he had decided not to take an oath at Dharmasthala on the corruption charges levelled by the former Chief Minister and JD(S) president H.D. Kumaraswamy.

“I will definitely go to Dharmasthala on June 27 and pay obeisance to Lord Manjunatha but will not take any oath,” he said.

On Mr. Kumaraswamy's visit to Dharmasthala on the same date, the Chief Minister said: “I will not even go near him (Mr. Kumaraswamy).”

He said that besides offering prayers at Dharmasthala temple on June 27, he would also visit Subramanya temple and launch many development works.
