Sivaganga
SIVAGANGA: V. Rajaraman assumed office as Collector of Sivaganga district here on Saturday. S. Suyambulingam, District Revenue Officer, who held additional charge of Collector, handed over charge to the new Collector. A native of Cuddalore, Mr. Rajaraman joined government service as a Group I officer in 1997. On promotion, he became IAS officer in 2010. He has served in various positions, including Deputy Secretary, Monitoring, Chief Minister's Office.
