SALEM: Here is some respite for those hearts lonely and weary of old age. Salem Trekkers Club has initiated an innovative concept of providing recreational opportunities for the aged who are left alone when the rest of their family leave for work. Designed and implemented exclusively for senior citizens, the 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. facility would provide books on various subjects, chess, carom and also traditional play materials that would not strain the aged and at the same time facilitate them to forge a bond with others of their age group. Those interested could contact Mr. Kanagasabapathy on 094433-47532.
