‘Malala Simha Garjanas' soon

RAJAHMUNDRY: ‘Malala Simha Garjana' which was successfully conducted at Rajahmundry and Viziangaram and brought strong unity among the Mala sub-caste of the SCs is ready to roar again on their demands. All frontal organisations of Mala community, which met here on Sunday, have taken a decision to form a steering committee to press for their all future course of actions and other activities. The steering committee will be headed by Amalapuram MP G.V. Harsha Kumar.

The steering committee decided to hold Malala Simha Garjana in Rayalaseema and Telangana in coming months. It decided to appeal to SCs in all political parties, Ministers, MPs, MLAs, IAS, IPS officers to support the cause of SCs and also not to divide Mala and Madigas in the name of classification. The steering committee demanded that government should not take a hasty decision to go for classification of SCs. The steering committee members and Mala Maha Sabha president Mallela Venkatrao said that during Simha Garjana, they have made 19 resolutions, out of which the government has not accepted a single resolution.

Mala Mahanadu president Y. Ramulu has said that 120 cases were foisted against SC youth in E. Godavari and they should be lifted immediately.
