BIJAPUR: Large and Medium-scale Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani will launch the Unique Identification Number project in the district at 10.30 a.m. on Monday. Ramesh Jigjinagi, MP; MLAs C S Nadgouda, A.S. Patil Nadahalli, S.K. Bellubbi, Vittal Katakdond, S.S. Bagali, M.B. Patil and Ramesh Bhusnur; MLCs Arun Shahapur, S.R. Patil, G.S. Nyamgouda, Mahantesh Koujalagi, and City Municipal Council President Parashuram Rajaputhn would participate in the function to be held at Kandgal Hanumantrai Rang Mandir here. In the first phase, centres will be set up at Shikhar Khana community hal, Jal Nagar, Ashraya Colony, Government Employees hall and police chintana hall.
