Free children club membership for students of GVMC schools

Training classes in magic, ventriloquism and mimicry to continue

Children studying up to class-X or up to the age of 15 years are eligible




VUDA Vice-Chairman Kona Sasidhar presenting magic kits to children who attended magic classes in the summer camp in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

VISAKHAPATNAM: VUDA Children Theatre will soon be renovated with many more amenities for children, Vice-Chairman Kona Sasidhar has said.

Besides new facilities for the overall development of the kids, a variety of activities will be conducted by the VUDA Children Club, he said while giving away magic kits to children who had completed training in magic classes in the summer camp conducted by the club on Sunday. The kits were brought from Kolkata.

Mr. Sasidhar asked the children to encourage their counterparts from poorer families to attend the school. Children studying in GVMC schools and belonging to poor families will be extended all benefits of the VUDA Children Club, including free membership, he announced.

Magician K. Ravisankar, ventriloquist Botta Nageswara Rao and dance teacher S Murali Babu were present.

The Vice-Chairman announced that the training classes in magic and ventriloquism and mimicry would continue on every Sunday. Training in dance by Dr. Murali Babu will be added.

The enrolment and renewal of membership in the Children Club would start from Monday, he said. Children studying up to class-X or up to the age of 15 years are eligible to join.

Screening of movies, drawing and painting classes on every Sunday, play area, mini zoo on the premises of VUDA Children Theatre and free entry to visit the Kursura Submarine Museum on the beach road are the privileges extended to the members of the club.
