Entries invited for Balasri awards

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakha Child Sponsorship Programme invites applications for selecting for the Balasri awards of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Bal Bhavan Society of India. Accomplished children between nine and 16 years of age should submit applications with proof of achievements, according to Chairman of VSSP K.V. Ramana in a press release here. VCSP is recognised by Bal Bhavan. The children selected here have to take an examination at zone-level. The subjects covered are painting, moulding, science, creative writing etc. Those selected here have to attend the national competition in New Delhi.

The children selected here will be paid travel expenses through the national Bal Bhavan and lodge and boarding will be provided. Details can be had from the deputy director (programmes) by calling 9440675123.

Entries should be sent by July 5 to Captain N. Venkateswarlu, VCSP Bal Bhavan, 3, Suryakiran Apartment, Palace Layout, Peda Waltair, Visakhapatnam by post.
