Liquor seized near Majali

Karwar: The police in Karwar seized liquor being transported illegally into Karnataka from Goa near the Majali check-post early on Sunday.

The value of the liquor is estimated at Rs. 90,000. The police also seized the car which was being used to transport the liquor. However, the accused managed to give police a slip.
