Spreading knowledge:Madhuna Murthy, son of Madhunapantula Satyanarayana Sastry, handing over books to Goutami Regional Library Officer V. Suryanaryana Murthy on Sunday. — RAJAHMUNDRY: Telugu Literary Legend, Kalaprapoorna Sri Madhunapantula Satyanarayana Sastry's valuable collections on different subjects in Telugu literature were handed over to Goutami Regional Library. At a function organised here on Sunday, Madhuna Murthy, M.S. Sarma -- sons of Madhunapantula and grandson M.S. Sekhar handed over about 300 books to Regional Library Officer V. Suryanarayna along with wooden rack. The books include Madhunapantula's personal collections from the age of 15. The collections include Telugu literature, Upanishads, Vedanta, poetry, and classics . These collections also include Central Sahitya Academy's Telugu Pancha Kavya, Ramayana Kalpavriksham and others. The Madhunapantula Trust had given about 800 books in 2002 to Goutami Regional Library. Speaking on the occasion, popular Sanskrit Scholar and president of Madhunapantula Trust, Viswanatha Gopalakrishna said that the trust would publish ‘Andhra Maha Kavula Charitra' (History of great poets of Andhra Pradesh) . Yatagiri Srirama Narasimha Rao, Perumalla Raghunath, Apiralla Narayana Rao and others participated .
