Traffic restrictions tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram: Traffic will be disrupted in the city from 2 p.m. on Tuesday in view of a public rally to be taken out by the NGO Union as part of its State conference.

The police anticipate long traffic snarls and have advised motorists to take detours. Vehicles proceeding towards Thampanoor and East Fort from the Main Central Road and National Highway would be diverted through the PMG-G.V. Raja-Public Library-Panchapura-Bakery-Flyover route. Vehicles towards Thampanoor and East Fort from Vellayambalam area will be diverted through the Vazhuthacaud-Thycaud-Flyover route. Vehicles moving towards Museum from Statue area will be diverted through the VJT Hall-Asan Square-Flyover-PMG route. Vehicles moving to Thampanoor and East Fort from General Hospital area will be re-routed through Asan Square-Under Pass-Bakery-Flyover route.
