Notebooks distributed

A Helping hand:District Collector Lav Agarwal giving away notebooks to children of journalists at a function in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

VISAKHAPATNAM: District Collector Lav Agarwal on Sunday gave away notebooks to children of journalists at a programme organised by the city unit of AP Working Journalists' Federation at Fusion Foods.

He assured journalists that he would accord top priority to solving problems faced by journalists working under pressure.

He complimented the federation for helping students by providing notebooks.

Collector feted

The Collector was felicitated on the occasion. Zone Incharge of Narayana educational institutions G. Ramalingeswara Rao assured support for journalists' children joining their colleges. Industrialist M. Venkatrao, federation State vice-president G. Srinubabu, city president P. Narayan, organising secretary D. Ravikumar, secretary P.U.S. Bhaskar and treasurer Nagaraju Patnaik participated.
