14-month-old baby goes missing

VISAKHAPATNAM: A 14-month-old baby went missing from her house at Madhuranagar on Sunday. The baby Shanvi's parents Vipparti Venkata Sanyasi Raju and mother Sujata were in the house when the incident happened.

In a complaint lodged with the Fourth Town police, Mr. Raju said around 10.45 a.m. the baby was playing in the compound of their ground floor house opposite Vishnu Residency at Madhuranagar. At 11 a.m., when they looked for her, she was missing. The baby girl, his younger child, was clad in a white frock and was wearing gold ear rings and silver anklets at the time of her disappearance.

The parents searched for her in the surrounding areas and up to the Beach Road. They lodged a complaint with the Four Town police around 12 p.m.

In his complaint, Mr. Raju, a marketing executive, said he had no enemies and had not expressed suspicion against anyone.
