Passengers stage protest

Nedumbassery: Passengers of Air-India flight AI 681 that landed here from Mumbai on Sunday evening staged a protest inside the aircraft against the alleged apathy of the airline company.

Officials said that the aircraft also had about 35 passengers from Abu Dhabi who had missed a connection flight to Kozhikode. They were later accommodated in the flight to Kochi on condition that they would be dropped off at their homes. However, the passengers staged a protest accusing the airline of failing to take care of its customers.

The protest lasted for over 35 minutes.
