Campaign against drugs

KOCHI: A campaign on the ill effects of drug abuse and illicit trafficking was conducted under the aegis of 7 (Kerala) Naval Unit NCC at its office at Ravipuram on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Sunday.

Naval wing NCC cadets from schools and colleges in the city participated in the event. A rally was conducted by the NCC cadets along the Old Thevara road. A drawing competition on ill effects of drugs was also conducted. to spread the message ‘Say No to Drugs.' Captain (IN) George Abraham, NM, Commanding Officer, addressed the cadets and delivered the message on drug abuse.

An anti-drugs rally was organised in the city by the 21 Kerala Bn NCC with the participation from the cadets of St Teresa's College on Monday. The rally was flagged off by Sr. Treesa of the college and Lt. Col. Shrikumar, Sena Medal, Administrative Officer of 21 Kerala Bn NCC.
