Dharmapuri: Two students of Velavalli Government High School near Palacode in Dharmapuri district were injured in a minor blast on Monday. Blast near parking lot According to district police sources, the students of Class VIII, S. Sakthivel and P. Sakthivel, were injured in a minor blast when they tried to break open a small cylinder-like object ( Thayathu in local parlance) near the parking lot. Seriously injured S. Sakthivel of Kolluppati village sustained severe injuries on his hands, stomach and right thigh. P. Sakthivel of Mandukottur sustained a minor injury. Admitted They were admitted to Palacode Government Hospital. Palacode police have registered a case regarding this and are investigating.
