Students take oath not to marry ‘alcoholics'

Namakkal: NSS volunteers of Vivekanandha Education Institutions for Women, near Tiruchengode, took an oath that they ‘will not marry alcoholics' as part of the Anti-Drug Day observance organised on Monday.

The students also took out a rally to create awareness on the ill effects of consuming alcohol and usage of drugs. Principal of Vivekanandha College of Arts and Science N. Rajendran, Head of the Costume Design and Fashion Department C.K. Ravishankar and NSS Coordinators took part in the rally.
