DSS, SUCI stage protests against increase in diesel, LPG prices
BANGALORE: Members of the Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samiti staged a protest against hike in the prices of diesel and LPG while urging the State Government to bring down the VAT on these products. Burning the effigy of the Prime Minister at the Mysore Bank Circle, DSS members said the life of common had become miserable owing to the hikes. Diesel price hike has had a cascading effect with prices of all other commodities increasing, they lamented.
Members of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) held a demonstration protesting against the hike in the prices .
