KADAPA: Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad called for a Statewide bandh of private and corporate schools on June 28 deploring unbridled growth in unrecognised corporate schools and admitting students by charging exorbitant fees, ABVP State Joint Secretary P. Suresh said on Monday. The schools are forcing parents to purchase school uniforms, books and other materials, he said. The bandh was mooted demanding that the government fix a reasonable fee structure and implement it through the DEOs, who should close down unrecognised schools, Mr. Suresh said. He called upon students to participate in the protest programme.
